Fading Fall

A few weeks ago I took a walking photography class to better acquaint myself with my camera. The info provided was pretty basic, but I definitely feel like I know my camera better, which is pretty awesome! Here are a few shots from our walk:

These last few were taken on a fall colors boat tour I took with my Mom on a recent trip to Minnesota.

I really love birch trees! I think we hit our peak fall colors last week and as soon as they reach their peak they start falling. All of the trees on my street are almost completely bare now. It's nice to have these photos to look back on. Nicer still knowing how to better use my camera in the future!

I have family from out of state visiting this weekend and I'm prepping for a large holiday craft show I have at the end of the month. Just typing that made me yawn. I think it's time to brew a fresh pot of ginger spice coffee and maybe put on some christmas claymation... Did you see the new holiday claymation toy line Target just released? Heidi Kenney of My Papercrane posted pics earlier in the week and I almost fainted! Definitely picking those up soon! Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
